Built with the same core design principles as the pro-level Z20, the Stratus combines lightweight aero efficiency with cutting-edge comfort technologies. The shape was refined for all-around road performance ventilated for long climbs but still fast for the flats and the integrated Float Fit system offers comfort and security with a streamlined fit and an oversized dial thats easy to adjust with one hand.

Pure Ventilation and Safety
The Overbrow Ventilation system pulls cool air in through the front and pushes it through an air-channel matrix to reduce overheating. And thanks to the adjustable No-Twist Tri-Glides, the straps stay flat and properly positioned no matter how hard youre hammering. This model also includes MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) for added protection in certain types of impacts.

MIPS Science in Motion
MIPS uses a slip-plane system that moves inside the helmet, mimicking the brains own protection system. This layer is designed to rotate inside the helmet with the intent to potentially slow or reduce the amount of energy transferred to or from the head. Science tells us that if we can reduce the strains associated with rotational acceleration, we might reduce the risk and severity of brain injury. In an accident the head rotates quickly and comes to a sudden stop, the rotational acceleration can cause the brain tissue to experience high levels of strain. The stretching of the tissue that can be caused by these motions can result in various types of brain injury.

Construction
Fusion in-mould polycarbonate shell - a process pioneered by bell bonds the helmet's outer shell to the eps foam liner to create a sturdier helmet. Plus, a lightweight internal polycarbonate roll cage.

Fit system
Float fit - a minimalist, lightweight fit system with an easy-to-turn rubber overmoulded dial for adjustments (integrated with MIPS)
