Carolyn Phillips is a food writer, scholar, and artist whose second book will be The Dim Sum Field Guide: A Taxonomy of Dumplings, Buns, Meats, Sweets, and Other Specialties of the Chinese Teahouse (Ten Speed, August 2016).
