Double bill of animated adventures. In 'Barbie: The Pearl Princess' (2014) Barbie (voice of Kelly Sheridan) stars as a mermaid named Lumina who wishes she could be a princess. She and her little seahorse friend Kuda (Katie Crown) leave home and journey to the magnificent mer-kingdom. While there, Lumina assists in the preparations for the upcoming ball by using her special powers that enable her to animate and illuminate pearls. As the ball gets under way the palace is attacked and Lumina finds her magic abilities might be the key to protecting the kingdom. In 'Barbie: Mermaidia' (2006) Barbie travels to Mermaidia to save her friend Prince Nalu (Alessandro Juliani) who has been kidnapped by Laverna (Kathleen Barr) who wants him to reveal the location of a secret berry that can turn her into the most beautiful fairy in Fairytopia.
