What's an adorably small canine with a big personality to do

From Sean Taylor, the author of Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise, and Kate Hindley, illustrator of Worst in Show, comes a hilarious new picture book comedy starring a very small fed-up dog... This dog doesn't want to be carried in a handbag (how embarrassing!) or eat heart-shaped Mini Puppy Treats (I mean, come ON!) and under no circumstances does he ever want to be called ... Choochie Pooh! If only his owner understood. All he wants to do is play with the big dogs in the park - chase sticks, jump in muddy puddles and be an ordinary, proper dog.

About the Author

Sean Taylor has written more than 40 books for young readers. These include the Purple Class series of comic adventures set in an urban primary school, a collection of folktales from the Amazon called The Great Snake, a novel for teenagers called A Waste of Good Paper, and picture books such as Hoot Owl, Master of Disguise, illustrated by Jean Jullien, Where the Bugaboo Lives, illustrated by Neal Layton, The World Champion of Staying Awake, illustrated by Jimmy Liao, and They Came from Planet Zabalooloo!, illustrated by Kate Hindley. He lives in Bristol with his wife and two sons.

About the Illustrator

Kate Hindley is an exciting talent in the world of picture books, and is quickly becoming renowned for her deliciously detailed illustrations, and lively characterization. After studying at the Falmouth School of Art, she has gone on to illustrate a number of picture books including How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth, Worst in Show and They Came from Planet Zabalooloo!, as well as fiction titles for older children such as the The Naughtiest Girl series written by Enid Blyton. Kate lives in Birmi...
