About the Author

Sam McBratney, author of more than one hundred books and scripts, is best known for this bestselling family classic Guess How Much I Love You and has won the Bass Ireland Arts Prize and the Bisto Award, twice. He and his wife live in the beautiful countryside of Country Antrim in Northern Island, where they are constantly visited by their many grandchildren.

About the illustrator

Anita Jeram says that illustrating this title was a labour of love. "Every time I read this book, I want to cry," she says.
