Dr Martins Hydrus Liquid Watercolour is a beautiful vibrant and enchanting range of paints that provide an exciting new option for artists of all styles!
This fine art grade liquid watercolour comes in a plastic bottle with dropper and promises the same brilliance and permanency as traditional watercolour. Each 15ml bottle contains the finest artists' pigments to create colours which offer freedom of bleeding and intermixing while maintaining the transparency and luminosity.
This exciting range contains 24 key colours which can be used as a traditional watercolour, but also is suitable for use with technical pens, calligraphy, fountain pens and airbrushes (cleaning soon after use is advisable).
Hints and Tips with the range:
You can easily remix the exact same colour over and over again with the dropper system - simply jot down your mix - e.g. 3 drops Ultramarine Blue and one drop of Burnt Umber creates a fabulous shadow colour every time.
For opaque gouache effects, titanium white may be intermixed, this also gives pastel effects.
