This device is designed for deep nerve and muscle pain associated with deeper tissues. Normal TENS machines cannot reach such areas because the pulses sent from TENS units cannot travel deep enough. Therefore, pain relief is minimal in such cases. ;

The biggest difference between TENS &; Interferential (IF) is the pulse rate. The pulse rate in IF is around 4000-4100 HZ which is much higher than TENS (2-150 HZ).
