These will spin for days and have that badass oversized pulley look, while maintaining shifting accuracy! Living proof you can have it all. These pulleys have aluminium cogs, serviceable Grade 3 ABEC-5 Hybrid ceramic bearings and fit the latest generation of Shimano derailleurs: Dura Ace R9100, Ultegra R8000 and 105 R7000. (Road seals). This road seal version runs with minimal contact seals to achieve the lowest friction.
Kogel's ceramic derailleur pulleys run on the same trusted ceramic bearings that are used in their bottom brackets. Using aluminium instead of plastics for the wheels makes them durable, especially for off road use
By using the standard cage on your Shimano Derailleur you will get the benefits of reduced articulation in the chain, while retaining accurate shifting. Something that has been a negative side effect of running large pulley systems. Switching to an oversized set might require a longer chain.
