The narrow wide tooth profile on the top pulley helps to retain shifting accuracy by pushing every link of the chain. These Kogel 12 tooth pulley wheels are built to last: aluminium cogs, serviceable Grade 3 ABEC-5 Hybrid ceramic bearings. (Cross seals). This cross seal version is built for off-road. Cross seal versions offer the best durability, regardless of the weather conditions.
Kogel's ceramic derailleur pulleys run on the same trusted ceramic bearings that are used in their bottom brackets. Using aluminium instead of plastics for the wheels makes them durable, especially for off road use.
