About the Author

Vivian French worked in children's tehatre for ten years before establishing herself as a storyteller. In 1988 she began to write for children has has written numerous books since then. Highlights include Caterpillar, Caterpillar which was shortlisted for the Emil/Kurt Maschler Award and A Song for Little Toad shortlisted for the Smarties Prize.
