Makita's rapid 12V MAX charger system rapidly charges 12V Li-ion batteries so you spend more time on the tools then on the charger. A microprocessor inside the charger communicates with the battery to determine its condition and charging history. It then selects the optimal charging method according to the battery’s voltage and current, whilst reducing temperature using an exclusive air forced system.

Forced air cooling fan - cools the battery to minimise charging time
Fast charging - 22mins (1.5Ah), 30mins (2.0Ah) and 60mins (4.0Ah)
