When a special exhibition of terracotta warriors comes to town, Ming and his mother goes to see them at the museum. But at midnight, Ming wakes up and finds the General figurine is alive and he has a copper carriage ready to take Ming to his home in Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Tomb in Xi'an, China. In this mysterious underground world over 2,000 year old, Ming meets the General's army of terracotta warriors.

About the Author
Li Jian graduated from Hebei Normal University in 2001, majoring in Chinese Painting. Mr. Li used to be a middle school art teacher, an editor for kid's books, and a partner in an illustration studio. Currently Mr. Li owns his own illustration studio focusing on illustrations for children's fairy tales. He has also published The Water Dragon, The Little Monkey King's Journey, and The Snake Goddess Colors the World.
