Aluminium tables and chair frames should be hosed regularly with fresh water to remove dust, salt and contaminants. Avoid contact with water from swimming pools as salt and chlorine can cause corrosion of metal components.
Minimise soiling of furniture and cushions by cleaning spills, stains and droppings before they dry or soak into the fabric.
Fabric stains can be spot cleaned using detergent and warm water or a stain remover such as Vanish Preen Original: the treated area should be turned face down, rinsed thoroughly with a hose and left to drip-dry (preferably in sunlight).
Cushion fabrics will repel stains and last longer if treated with a fabric protectant such as Scotchgard Fabric and Upholstery Protector every 12 months and after washing or spot-cleaning.
