About The Author
Pamela Allen was born in New Zealand where she studied art and became a secondary school teacher. She began illustrating books when her younger child started school. She won the Australian Picture Book of the Year Award two years running - for Who Sank The Boat and Bertie And The Bear. Pamela lives in Sydney.
