The Mustad Big Gun is a high carbon, chemically sharpened premium hook. It comes in sizes 6 - 12/0. It's design makes it suitable for many types of saltwater baits and there are few species of fish that can't be caught on it.
In the larger sizes, it is suitable for live baiting for kingfish, tuna and other game fish. Use it also whilst heavy reef fishing for mulloway, hapuka, emporer, coral trout and cod.
In the medium and smaller sizes, use it for bait fishing for snapper, flathead, bream, trevally etc.
