This new device maintains the core principles of the previous the DS-2500 - offering users a basic software package alongside a high quality recording device. However, the new DS-2600 now offers Slide Switch Control functionality. Slide Control operation allows users to dictate in a familiar analogue style using a single wear-free slide control. This feature has previously been exclusive to top-end dictation machines alongside other features such as Encryption and Automated Email Sending. The all new Olympus DS-2600 is the very first machine to offer users a top-end slide control functionality at an entry level cost.
