About the Author

Helen is Head of Science at Mentone Girls' Grammar School and has been teaching for over 20 years. After completing several years of research at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute and the Royal Children's Hospital, Helen entered the world of teaching. Helen was shortlisted for the 2014 Prime Minister's Secondary Science Prize.

Siew is Head of Science at Kingsway Christian College and has a PhD in Science Education. Her main research interest is the area of bioethics and values in science education.
