Kelly Macdonald stars in this drama from director Marc Turtletaub. Surburban housewife Agnes (Macdonald) feels taken for granted by her husband and family, with every day featuring a never-ending list of chores and errands. The only time she gets to herself is when she escapes into a jigsaw puzzle. When she sees an advert posted by a lonely gentleman (Irrfan Khan) looking for a puzzle partner, she learns of a national puzzle competition which the two enter as a pair. As she finds herself drawn closer to her new friend and further away from her husband, will she be able to keep her two worlds alive or will one eventually overpower the other
