This slate hearth pad is intended for use in a straight wall installation and suits many generic makes and models of wood heaters (check specific requirements of intended heater).
Australian standards require all wood heaters to be located a hearth when the floor is made of a combustible material.
Scandia hearth pads are manufactured using a non-combustible material which is designed to be placed under a freestanding heater or in front of an inbuilt heater to protect the timber, carpet or vinyl floor beneath. They have a decorative, honed aluminium edge on all exposed edges for long‑term durability and superior strength.
