The Ugly Stik Gold Surf Rod is a 2-piece, 10-foot rod that has a line rating of between 6-10 kg, and has been designed exclusively with the Howald Process Double-Built construction that features a graphite inner core with an outer layer of E-Glass. It also features a blank-through-handle construction. The rod also boasts a high quality Fuji reel-seat, and the Fuji guides have been under and over bound. Ugly Stik have created a rod with superior strength and sensitivity. To add to the durability and longevity, all the bindings and blanks have been fully-coated with epoxy for extra protection from the sun s damaging UV rays.
