The sink rate of the jig head can be varied by either putting on a smaller slim profile, or a shad-shaped soft plastic when targeting fish in bays and rivers that don t have much tidal movement.
When fishing directly on the bottom, they can be ripped off the bottom or gently hopped. Most of the takes will be when the lure is slowly falling through the water, so be ready for that strike or soft touch.
