The Tackle Tactics 1/28oz, 2/0, Bass jig head is one that every soft plastics angler should have up their sleeves. It's a great jig head to use with 3 to 4 inch soft plastics over the weed beds or oyster racks. There are a number of ways that this jig head can be used; the rip-and-stop, the slow-wind-and- rattle-the-rod-tip, the let-it-fall-and-sit-on-the-bottom- while-lifting-the-rod-tip-in-a-small-hopping-motion. You will need to vary the action to see which one will excite the fish to bite. Try using the wind to help you get more distance out of your cast, and then allow the lure to slowly sink and then pause for a few seconds before lifting the rod to give it another hop or two.
