Enter a bewitching world of moving skeletons, witty blackbirds and all sorts of mysterious characters in this collection of 7 spellbinding tales from India, Chile, Seneca, Scotland, Russia, West Africa and the Inuit nations. Retold and narrated by master storyteller Hugh Lupton.

Book Features:

  • Perfect for harvest time and Halloween, children will love the thrill of being frightened, but not too frightened to keep from reading what happens next!

  • The seven tales in the collection come from all over the world, including Indian, Chilean, Inuit, Seneca, Scottish, Russian and West African cultures.

  • They may be playful and surreal, but these stories also offer a springboard to discuss such issues as environmentalism, death and rebirth.
