The Alliance Alive is an RPG, with classic turn-based battles, set in a fantasy world ruled by otherworldly beings called Daemons. The scenario was written by Yoshitaka Murayama, noted for his work on the Suikoden series.

The game was originally only available digitally on 3DS, but this is the first time that the game is available as a physical edition.

Instead of using a traditional experience-point levelling system, character skills grow through "Awakening" the more often they're used. There is also a separate "Talent" system which is used to boost character stats.

The game comes with FREE cutout paper dolls featuring the nine playable characters.
