Reese Witherspoon and Corey Stoll star in this drama based on real life events. When civil war breaks out in Sudan millions of people are left without homes and families. Carrie Davis (Witherspoon) agrees to help three Sudanese men, who have won safe passage to the United States, find jobs and homes but her initial plan takes a backseat as she finds herself becoming their friend.
