About the Author

Renee McBryde has worked in Community Services for the last fifteen years across several sectors, primarily working with disadvantaged children. Currently she works as a senior child protection practitioner for the Department of Children's and Families, mostly working with Indigenous families. She also teaches Community Welfare Diplomas and courses in Alice Springs.
