About the Author
Debbie Singleton is a new author. She started her career working on a North Sea oil rig as a petroleum engineer after completing a degree in Chemical Engineering at Cambridge University. She moved on to more inviting places, including Texas, Alaska and Trinidad. She now lives in Australia with her husband and two daughters. Her first picture book, The King Who Wouldn't Sleep, is illustrated by Holly Swain and published by Andersen Press.
