The Monster Sisters, Enid Jupiter and Lyra Gotham, are two young sleuths in the vein of Nancy Drew or Scooby-Doo, doing superheroic deeds while learning about colonialism on Indigenous land.
About the Author
Raised in Victoria, B.C., Gareth Kyle Gaudin still lives there, now with his wife and two young daughters. He became interested in comic books and comic art as a kid and spent a lot of his time reading and drawing. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Victoria while working at Legends Comics &; Books downtown.
Later, Gareth became co-owner of Legends (along with the filmmaker and writer Lloyd Chesley); you can find him there most days selling comics, drawing, giving art lessons, or fending off inquisitive librarians.
