Tracy Beaker says 'Jacqueline grew up in Kingston. She didn't have any brothers or sisters, but she always wanted some - which I think is crazy, I'd much rather be an only child because that way you don't have to share. She's been writing books for years and years - since she was nine. When she left home she went to work as a journalist, and wrote for lots of different magazines, which sounds really fun to me.
