These Tradeflame Polyethylene Plastic Welding Rods are designed to be used with the Tradeflame Plastic Welding Kit (part 213045). They are ideal for use on containers, detergent bottles, rigid agriculture pipes, crates, squeeze bottles, irrigation tubing and where welding of PE plastic is needed.
HDPE is hard to semi flexible and resistant to chemicals and most moisture. It has a waxy surface is opaque and softens at approx 75C. it is easily coloured and formed.
LDPE is soft with a waxy translucent surface that softens at 70C, it can scratch easily.
