The Zerek was the 2012 winner of the best soft plastic lure at AFTA. The 2 inch comes pre-rigged with 6.5 gram weighted, weedless hook, that will allow you to fish it over lily pads and weed beds. Another fantastic feature about the Zerek Lure Live Shrimp is that it can be re-rigged with standard jig head or worm hook. So this will open up your options of where you can fish it.
Try rigging it up on a weedless, un-weighted hook, and then cast it back into the depths of the mangrove. Most of the time it will not get snagged as you bounce it through the mangrove. The unique segmented tail is held together by Kevlar matting to give durability and life-like action. It also comes complete with an in-built rattle chamber, life-like leg action and lumo eyes.
When you look closer at the soft plastic, you will notice that is also comes with rigging slots in the body. This will shield the hook, making the lure snag resistant.This is an ideal size and weight for large bream, trevally, bass and flathead.
